Company History
Apex Windows and
Bath Accessories, A.C.C. is a local family owned and operated company
established January 23, 1995 in a 2400 square foot building on South
Dodge Blvd. Apex began with with only 3 employees.
By 1997 Apex had
grown to 18 employees and moved to a 5800 square foot facility on the
corner of Ajo Way and Palo Verde. In June, 1997, Entrepreneur Magazine
choose Apex as the 49th fastest growing small business in
America and was published in the Hot 100 issue.
By the end of 1997,
Apex Windows occupied over 9400 square feet at the same location and
had grown to over 25 Employees.
In 1998 the company purchased 54000 square feet of commercial land
in the Butterfield Business Park and began the process of building a
20500 square foot office/warehouse where Apex Windows currently
resides.
By the end of 1999
Apex Windows employed 57 people at which time we elected to back down
a bit and slow the growth to a manageable level.
In January of 2001,
Apex Windows opened our Commercial Division. Although this endeavor
did not impact the market as rapidly as we would have liked, growth
has been slow and methodical and we have established ourselves
with several prominent Builders and are now considered a player in the
Tucson area.
